Take a peek into one of our Krewe socials, community service events, or a parade and you’ll see a very diverse mix of people. Our ages, cultures, etc. may vary but one thing brings us together: We joined the Unsinkable Krewe of Molly Brown for very similar purposes.
Why?
A Tampa Tradition! The Gasparilla parades are Tampa’s proudest tradition. As a spectator, you may have watched the floats from afar, caught some beads, and battled the bathroom lines. Joining a Krewe brings you across the fences and makes you officially part of the tradition. You’ll ride or walk alongside a real Gasparilla float and throw beads at screaming Gasparilla fans. Riding a Gasparilla float is truly an exhilarating experience.
Community Involvement! Krewe members are not just entertainers in costume! We are a social group with real involvement in the community. Each year, our Krewe President chooses a community partner/charity which we sponsor, donate and volunteer with. For the past few years, the Unsinkable Krewe of Molly Brown has partnered with Post 9/11 Veterans, an organization dedicated to returning veterans to their community.
Fun, Networking and Friends! Joining a Krewe is not only a great place to make friends and strengthen existing friendships; it’s also a great place to network with Tampa area professionals. Our Krewe members include many influential business leaders and owners and other valuable referral sources.
