The Unsinkable Krewe of Molly Brown was founded in 2001 by Nancy Peterson to commemorate and honor the victims of the Titanic. The Krewe is notable for its continual award-winning presence for its float in the city of Tampa's annual parades.

Every year, the Unsinkable Krewe of Molly Brown participates in four parades in the Tampa Bay area such as the Children's Gasparilla Parade, the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates, the Krewe of Sant' Yago Knight Parade, and the Rough Riders St. Patrick's Night Parade.

The Krewe is based off of the most famous survivor of the Titanic, Molly Brown. Her personal history as a suffragette and a fighter for human rights is an integral part of who we are as a Krewe.
